Bio: Junxin Chen is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Software Technology, Dalian University of Technology, China. He is a recipient of a national-level young talent program, the inaugural Xiaomi Young Scholar award, and the Hou Kong Scholar program of Macao. He also serves as a Professor at the Liaoning Key Laboratory of Cardiovascular Imaging Medicine at General Hospital of Northern Theater Command, China, and at Incheon National University, South Korea. He is currently the Director of the Joint Research Center for Health and Medical Intelligent Computing between Dalian University of Technology and Ritsumeikan University, Japan. His research focuses on interdisciplinary applications of artificial intelligence, including AI agents for healthcare, AI-enabled wearable devices, and AI applications in engineering. He has published more than 200 papers in leading international SCI-indexed journals and conferences, including over 100 papers as first or corresponding author. His publications have received more than 6,000 citations on Google Scholar, and his h-index is 42. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Expert Systems and serves in editorial roles for several international journals, including IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics and IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computational Intelligence. He is also an Area Editor for NeurIPS, a CCF-A conference.
